Description
A yellow sac spider (Cheiracanthium mildei) roams the kitchen in a Chicago-area home. Frequently found indoors, the yellow sac spider is capable of causing a painful bite that can lead to the development of a necrotic lesion. This species was introduced to the U.S. from Europe in the 1940s.
